ePUB Split Second PDF ½ Ù s2baby.co split free, second kindle, Split Second EpubI highly recommend all of the books written by this authorThe characters in this story are a bit flat but hey this is SF It appears to me as if Douglas Richards' earliest works are uite good and the newest ones are great I would put him up there with the best SF authors I started to give this story 4 stars but that was being too hypercritical but some of the behaviors of his characters seems a bit cardboard like early Robert Heinlein I urge him to continue to hone his writing skills and keep pumping out novels He also tends to keep hidden details that would provide conflict in the story if he brought them to the attention of the reader I think that is from his thriller perspectiveHe characterizes his stories as action adventure or thriller

ePUB Split Second PDF ½ Ù s2baby.co split free, second kindle, Split Second EpubThis is definitely a sci fi book but it takes a while to get there First of all it is an adventure story involving kidnappings escapes and pursuits The tension is ratcheted up because the reader is never sure which set of pursuers are the bad guys The action is punctuated by several lengthy expositions on scientific theory scientific possibilities and ethical issues I can't believe that action fans would be interest

ePUB Split Second PDF ½ Ù s2baby.co split free, second kindle, Split Second EpubMixed feelings about this Good premise and well written but many failings mean I can't bring myself to recommend itThe first half is pretty damn great the characters are given depth without distracting from the story the pace is good and the events keep throwing the reader off guard Reads like a good thriller with some sci fi thrown in Then the the way time travel works is explained in as consistent a way as you could imagine and the story feels like it's about to reach it's climaxBut at that point it becomes boring All the unknown and uncertainty evaporates and it becomes a boring Hollywood good vs evil The resolution of the plot becomes a string of deus ex machina from the characters abandoning random parts of their stupidity to the bad guy's string of stupid mistakes

ePUB Split Second PDF ½ Ù s2baby.co split free, second kindle, Split Second EpubI couldn't get on with this and gave up at about 30% into the book I really don't understand the 5 star reviews given here The intro was uite gripping I read the sample and purchased the book before I finished but it wasn't sustained Long sections of exposition slowed the pace Some of the plot development seemed too dependent on unlikely coincidence Technology is uneven encryption is easy to break but no one thinks to copy a USB stick The ex special forces hero is a cliche I can see the attention to detail and research but it's not a substitute for telling a story I like hard SF military SF and conspiracy type thr
